This Murfreesboro home got a full roof replacement from tear-off to finished install - and the whole thing was covered by insurance. That's the kind of job we love doing. The homeowner had storm damage, we documented it, worked through the claims process, and got them a brand new roof without it coming out of pocket.

We went with Tamko Titan XT shingles in Rustic Black. It's a solid performer - built to handle the kind of weather Middle Tennessee throws at roofs year after year. The color itself makes a big difference too. That deep charcoal tone pairs really well with the brick exterior and gives the whole house a much sharper, more finished look than what was there before.

Here's what the process actually looked like: full tear-off of the old shingles, decking inspection and prep, then a clean install from the ground up. You can see mid-job with the decking fully exposed and the crew working across the whole surface. That's how a proper roof replacement goes - no shortcuts, no layering new shingles over old ones.

The before and after on this one is pretty hard to miss. The old roof was worn and showing its age. What we ended up with is a tight, uniform install with clean lines along every ridge, hip, and valley. New gutters on the perimeter, everything buttoned up right. It's the kind of work that holds up and looks good doing it.

A lot of homeowners don't realize their storm-damaged roof might already be covered. If you've had hail or wind come through your area and haven't had your roof looked at, it's worth knowing what you're dealing with before the next storm season hits.
